About This Class
Tumbling 1 (Ages 6 & Up)
Our Tumbling 1 class is designed for students ages 6 and up who want to build strength, flexibility, coordination, and confidence while learning fundamental tumbling skills. In a safe and encouraging environment, students work on age and skill appropriate progressions including forward and backward rolls, cartwheels, round-offs, handstands, bridges, backbends, kickovers, and other foundational techniques. Every skill is taught with an emphasis on proper technique and safety, allowing each student to progress at their own pace.
Throughout the season, students improve body awareness, balance, core strength, and flexibility while developing perseverance, discipline, and confidence with every new accomplishment. Tumbling also enhances coordination and athletic ability, making it a great complement to dance, cheerleading, gymnastics, and many other sports.
Tumbling 1 is a wonderful class for children who enjoy being active, learning new skills, and challenging themselves in a supportive atmosphere. Students in this class have the exciting opportunity to perform in both our Winter Showcase and our End of Season Recital, giving them the chance to showcase their progress and celebrate their achievements with family and friends.
