About This Class
Pre Ballet (Ages 3 and 4)
Our Pre Ballet class introduces young dancers to the beauty and grace of ballet in a fun, encouraging environment designed especially for ages 3 to 4. Through creative movement and age-appropriate ballet instruction, dancers develop coordination, balance, flexibility, posture, musicality, and body awareness while learning the basic positions and terminology of ballet. Each class encourages imagination, creativity, and self-expression while helping children build confidence and classroom skills such as listening, following directions, and taking turns.
Pre Ballet provides a strong introduction to ballet while fostering a love for dance and movement that can grow for years to come. Whether your child is stepping into a dance studio for the first time or continuing their dance journey, this class offers a supportive environment where every dancer can learn and succeed. Dancers in this class also have the exciting opportunity to perform in both our Winter Showcase and our End of Season Recital, giving them the chance to share what they’ve learned and create special memories on stage.
Requirements & Dress Code
Our youngest dancers learn best when they can move freely and comfortably. A simple dress code helps instructors safely guide movement while allowing little dancers to build confidence, coordination, and independence in class.
Required Attire
• Leotard of your choice (any color or style)
• or soft fitted clothing
• No jeans or dresses
Shoe Requirements
• Full sole leather ballet shoes are required
• Girls: Pink
• Boys: Black
• Studio Price: $22.95
• Ballet "slippers" are not permitted.
Ordering Ballet Shoes
To ensure every dancer has the correct style, color, and fit for class and recital, ballet shoes may be conveniently ordered through the studio's front desk.
Families are welcome to purchase shoes elsewhere; however, all dancers must wear the required shoe style and color for recital. We highly recommend ordering through the studio to ensure the correct fit and a uniform appearance on stage.
