Amber Upton

Amber began dancing at age 5 in Colorado Springs, CO where she took tap and ballet. Amber later moved to Indiana and danced for Dreams II dance studio taking jazz and hip hop, and later decided to add ballet and tap. At the age of 15 Amber decided hip hop was her passion and began dancing for Dance ’til u drop where she took hip hop and jazz. Amber has competed at all levels and has attended conventions with famous choreographers such as Dan Karaty in So you think you can dance, and Wade Robinson to name a few . At the age of 16 she auditioned for kings Island and made it into the final round. In 1999 she auditioned for the American modeling and talent convention (AMTC) and was chosen to dance in Hilton Head, SC. As a senior at Churubusco High school Amber choreographed the school dance team. After graduating in 2000 Amber was offered a teaching position at Dance ’til U Drop where her groups have won high awards in many competitions. In that time Amber also coached Churubusco’s middle school, and high school dance team; taught for Center Stage 2 nonconsecutive years; and is working on a minor in dance at IPFW.




Stephanie

Ballet, Lyrical, Jazz

Stephanie Vose has fifteen years of dance experience in ballet, pointe, lyrical, jazz, tap, and hip hop. She has competed in regional and national dance competitions for ten years in such cities as Las Vegas, Myrtle Beach, Boston and New York winning numerous platinum, gold, and silver awards. She has attended workshops for the Cecchetti method of ballet and Tremaine workshops focusing on jazz, lyrical, ballet, and hip hop. She has attended the American College Dance Festival in Kalamazoo, Michigan to continue her training in modern, lyrical, jazz, conditioning, and ballet. She was a featured dancer in IPFW’s production of Purely Dance 2006 and performed in Purely Dance 2007. Stephanie was named Tremaine Studio Dancer of the Year in 1999 and auditioned for Star Search in 2004. She has been a dance instructor for three years and attends IPFW majoring in Elementary Education with a minor in dance.

Carleen

Jazz, Tap, Ballet

Carleen has been dancing since the age of three. She is trained in the areas of ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, character, and hip hop. She was twelve when she began attending competitions as a part of her studio’s company group and has achieved success at multiple levels. She was a student teacher for seven years and has traveled to Boston, San Antonio, and most recently to Virginia Beach for national level competition, where she earned top scores and was invited into the competitions showcase. Carleen is a Junior at the University of St. Francis, studying Elementary Education/Mild Intervention and is captain of their dance team. She performs at their home football games, women’s basketball games, and men’s basketball games.




Elizabeth

Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop

Elizabeth has been dancing since she was 3. In her fifteen years of dance she was trained in the areas of ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, hip-hop, and character. She has competed at regional and national levels earning manygold, high gold, and platinum awards. In the last six years she has traveled to San Antonio, Virginia Beach and Myrtle Beach with her studios competition group.Her small group lyrical was showcased at national level and was named national championsin 2009. Elizabeth also won most photogenic and a model search at nationalsin 2009. She haschoreographed many routines including her high schools Show Choir performances. Elizabeth has been to a numerous amount of conventions and has been taught by top dancers and performers including; Julian Thorn, Hayley Mac Cooper, Dena Rizzo, Mary Ann Lamb, tWitch, Keltie Colleen, Taylor Moore, Aaron Burr, Blue Cervin, Rachel Ross, and many more. Elizabeth is currently a student at Ivy Tech Community College. Her future plans include joining the military and becoming an Anesthesiologist.
